Ristivaaran metsätila soveltuu hyvin pitempiaikaista metsäsijoitusta tavoittelevalle. Puuston laskennallinen kasvu on n. 4m3/ha/v tasolla ja se tulee ennusteen mukaan nousemaan n. 5m3/ha/v tasolle 2040- luvun puolivälille tultaessa. Lähes puolet tilan puustosta on varttuneissa kasvatusmetsissä. Maapohjat ja kasvupaikat ovat erinomaiset metsänkasvatukseen. Maapohjat ovat lähes kokonaan kivennäismaita, suon osuus on vain n. 8%. Kasvupaikat painottuvat tuoreeseenkankaaseen, jonka osuus on n. 82% pinta-alasta. Lehtomaistakangasta on n. 13%, kuivahkonkankaan osuus on vain n. 5% pinta-alasta. Nuorissa istutustaimikoissa kuvioilla 7 ja 18 on tarpeen suorittaa lähivuosina taimikonvarhaisperkaus. Muita metsänhoitotyötarpeita tilalla ei tällähetkellä ole. Hakkuumahdollisuuksia on 10- vuotiskaudella n. 500m3 verran. Näistä uudistushakkuiden osuus on n. 300m3. Kuviolla 17 on vanhan hirsirakennuksen jäänteitä. Kuvio 9 metsälaki 10§ lähde.
